The project is the construction of civil infrastructure for a state of the art warehousing facility for James International at their current location at Cline Town. Scope included
¨ Design review and modification
¨ Demolition of existing structures
¨ Earthworks and construction of access roads
¨ Construction of new foundations & slab
Our design review identified efficiencies in the foundation
design that resulted in significant savings for our Client.
The site, being located on a long, gentle slope required significant earthworks to address a 4m ground level difference between both ends of the structure.
Steel fabrication and erection was undertaken by others so speed and accuracy of foundation construction was key.
Centurion Engineering managed and undertook all earthworks and civil works using our own fleet of equipment
