Our scope was to undertake
¨ Clear site and divert waterways
¨ 120m reinforced concrete retaining wall
¨ 1,500 m3 of imported fill to level site
¨ Construction of 120m boundary wall
¨ 2 x 10m culverts at entrance and exit
The project was undertaken in to phase coinciding with the rainy and dry seasons
The site was water logged and initial earthworks were required to drain the site and divert waterways
A retaining structure was required along three sides to allow the site to be filled and levelled to road level. This resulted in layered and compacted fills of up to 1.8m in places
The fill was mined and imported using our own fleet of haulage trucks and excavator from a site 5km away.
